AI agent for manufacturing procurement

Bonx agents import order confirmations, follow up with late suppliers and enter delivery notes. Your buyers focus on the cases that need a decision.

Procure-to-pay automation

Order confirmations

The agent imports confirmations received by email and links them to the purchase order.

Supplier follow-up

When a delivery is running late, the agent follows up with the supplier.

Delivery note entry

The delivery note is read automatically and the receipt is prepared in Bonx, with no re-entry.

Delivery checks

The agent checks each delivery note against the order and flags discrepancies.

Late orders analyzed

For a late order, the agent assesses the quantities at risk, the work orders affected and the stock, and prepares a draft email to the supplier.

Supplier invoices

Supplier invoices are read by OCR and matched to purchases. Posting them stays in your accounting software.

An agent under your supervision

You stay in control

By default, every change the agent suggests waits for your approval. When a task is reliable enough, you can accept it automatically. Every run is logged: messages, suggested changes, decision and records created.

Shortage monitoring

The agent flags a material shortage, analyzes the stock of the items involved and suggests a combined purchase.

FAQ

Procure-to-pay covers the operational purchasing cycle: purchase order, confirmation, receipt, invoice and payment. Bonx handles this cycle up to the supplier invoice; payment and posting stay in your accounting software.

By default, no: the agent prepares the follow-up and you approve it. If you choose, a task considered reliable enough can be accepted automatically.

You describe the task in plain language, with the rules to follow, and attach it to a step of a process. The agent runs when a record reaches that step. You can rerun a run and leave feedback to improve its instructions.

Only what you have authorized. The agent acts with Bonx tools, within the permissions of the profile it is assigned to. Every action is checked against those permissions and logged, and changes wait for your approval unless you turn on automatic acceptance.
