Production management and real-time shop floor tracking

A work order is created from a sales order, a planning suggestion or a stock requirement, and stays linked to its source.
Each item has its bill of materials and its manufacturing routing, broken down into steps. Configurable bills of materials adapt to variants.
Material lots are reserved or picked for the work order. Traceability of the finished product builds up as production progresses.
Operators report progress and quantities produced, in one or several entries. The finished product goes into stock when it is reported.
Steps are shown one at a time on a phone or tablet. When a component is scanned, Bonx blocks the wrong one before it is used.
The cost of each work order is calculated from the materials actually consumed, labor and machine time, and is locked when the product goes into stock.
Production software only works if operators actually use it. Bonx screens are designed for the workstation: reporting in a few seconds, screens that match the real work, and no training manual to memorize.

Machines can read their work order queue and report the progress of each step through the API. A defect detected by a machine can be reported directly to quality.

Production management software covers production: work orders, bills of materials, routings and shop floor tracking. An ERP also covers sales, purchasing, inventory, logistics and invoicing. Bonx combines both, so production works on the same data as the rest of the company.
Bonx covers a large part of shop floor execution: workstation instructions, real-time reporting, quality checks on steps and machine communication through the API. Production tracking happens in the ERP, with no separate system to synchronize.
Start with work orders and reporting on tablets or phones, on one line or one shop. Operators report at the workstation, inventory and progress update, and then you add quality checks and workstation instructions.
Yes. The cost of a work order includes the materials actually consumed, labor and machine time. It is locked when the finished product goes into stock.
